From 20 to 22 May 2026, the 1st SFB MR-DYNAMO Workshop took place at TU Graz under the title Mathematical Methods in MRI. The event brought together researchers from applied mathematics and magnetic resonance imaging to discuss current developments in mathematical modelling, inverse problems, reconstruction algorithms, acquisition design, optimal control, and learning-based approaches.
The programme featured keynote lectures by Gerlind Plonka-Hoch from the University of Göttingen, Michael Unser from EPFL Lausanne, and Moritz Zaiss from FAU Erlangen–Nürnberg, as well as contributed talks by participants from several institutions.
We thank all speakers and participants for their valuable contributions to the success of the workshop.
